THE APOCALYPSE?

My best boyfriend just totally went bat shit on me because we are still going to the grocery store, well not me but my husband and my daughter. I don’t think I’ve been anywhere in close to a month.

So he is so wrapped up in the COVID epidemic that he is willing to end our relationship if I don’t show him a tracking order for my groceries. I shit you not, this is really happening as we speak.

He has me frantic but Todd would never agree to have our food delivered. Going to the store is also his way of getting out of the house. Yes, even during a Pandemic. What is a girl to do?

I wash my hands about a thousand times a day, so does everyone in my house. Someone is always washing their hands. My daughter is being schooled from home, as her school district closed its doors. They call it distance learning. She has not even seen her boyfriend in weeks. The only time we are in danger of exposure is when we shop for food and picking up our prescriptions. And even having those delivered takes too long. I need my soldiers now (diazepam).

You tell me world at large; should I be pitching a fit and ordering all of our food online? Do you think Todd would agree?

While you’re thinking about that think about this too. The flu has taken more lives this year than COViD. As I was reminded, there is a vaccine for it. One I choose not to take.

Are we freaking out over it? We mildly freak out by getting the occasional news report about where the flu is hitting and reminders to get your flu shot. Now I’m all for doing what we are doing now, shutting shit down until we get a handle on this new mother fucker, but I have more of a chance of catching the flu than I do COVID.

please understand, i love him for his worry even to this extent, but life has to go on. we can't stop living all together.
